Dps 2025-2026

Adobe After Effects – learnt how to rig/animate a simple character movement, adding comp and sound.

I found this a bit tricky at the start as I’m not used to animating on AE, but using the knowledge I had previously and what was shown in the tutorial, I could overcome the small problems I was having. I also learned how to animate text, which was insightful; however, it covered the same basic techniques I had already known, but it was a good refresher to practice.

I had to miss Adobe Premiere training, unfortunately, due to having to go to the InMotion event.

unfortunately, on this day as well, we were trying to book time for a portfolio review with one of the industry artists who were avaliable, but it was quite competitve and unfortunately couldn’t get any, however, this experince was very nice to meet new people and see what the industry is up to, as well as get to know more studios and creatives that i wasnt aware of before

ACP After Effects –

Unfortunately, I didn’t pass the first time, but it was a good refresher and an opportunity to learn about the other parts of After Effects I haven’t learnt about previously. I found it quite challenging, as beforehand I’ve only ever used After Effects for basic editing, so I should look at learning Premiere Pro, which I also plan to take the test on. But I think since the time frame we had to learn the extra material for the exam wasn’t enough to learn the technical and explore the software, and where everything is located. I had to retake the exam another time, where I ended up passing.

ACP Photoshop – similar to the after effects i didnt pass on the first try

ACP- Premiere – I found the Premiere ACP exam much easier, but I did think it was because I had knowledge from the After Effects, which is very similar in the topics they cover.
